Erica - Client Care Supervisor
Laurie, Doctors' Assistant and Trial Coordinator
Laurie entered the veterinary field in 2004, after experiencing cancer in two of her dogs and kidney failure in another two. She gets much satisfaction from helping our clients through the challenge of a cancer diagnosis in their beloved pets, and enjoys her position as doctor's assistant. Laurie is one of our Clinical Trial Coordinators, helping to pass along much needed knowledge to our pet owners and referring veterinarians.
Laurie was exclusively a cat lover until she fell for the charms of the Newfoundland dog breed. Her great passion in life is making pet-assisted therapy visits with generation after generation of her rescued Newfoundlands. Volunteering in the "Newfoundland Kissing Booth" for athletes at the Summer Games of the Special Olympics is a highlight of her year. She enjoys tromping around in area parks under the guise of training her dogs to pull carts. She is also very involved in volunteering with the fundraising and medical supervision of the local Newfoundland Rescue program.

She also organized a handful of cool fundraisers to benefit this year's Relay for Life of Mission Viejo. Kaily has a lab-pit mix named Blaze.
Laura, Registered Veterinary Technician
Laura started her career in the veterinary field in 1988 and has spent a majority of that time working in specialty hospitals in the Orange County area. She continuously strives to expand upon her knowledge and skills as a veterinary technician and joined our team in January 2012. It is her belief that through learning she can gain a better understanding of what the animals placed in her care are feeling. That way she can provide them with both compassionate medical and emotional support. When not at work, Laura enjoys working in her garden or reading science fiction novels. Currently she only has one special companion, her cat Mina, who is camera shy.
