Arming
yourself
with Knowledge.
One of Veterinary Cancer Group's main goals is to educate the pet owner about the specific cancer their pet has and what treatment options are available, in addition to sharing knowledge about cancer in general. When a family comes in for their first consultation a significant time-frame is set aside. We know there is much to discuss and we realize there will be questions. We encourage you to voice any questions or concerns to the doctor and/or technician caring for you and your pet. Once you have returned home and have had a chance to absorb more of the information discussed, new questions may arise, and you are welcome to contact us whenever needed.
In an effort to provide the most thorough, easy to understand information to the community, we will post our information sheets describing many of the specific cancers that we commonly see. These information sheets are in no way meant to take the place of a veterinarian's advice and the necessity for a physical examination and diagnostic testing.
AGASACA: Apocrine Gland Adenocarcinoma of the Anal Sac
Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma in Cats
